Owners Angelo & Doxa Makrydakis immigrated to Canada from the Greek island of Crete. In 1996, they decided that Kitchener needed a Greek dining experience where customers would feel welcomed and a part of the family in warm, casual atmosphere. Soon after, the Three Kretans were born. Named after their 3 sons - Gus, Zack, and Niko - they succeeded in bringing the tastes of their native Greece back to KW. With fresh ingredients, traditional Greek dishes and desserts prepared daily, Three Kretans has established itself as being Kitchener-Waterloo's #1 Greek restaurant for over 23 years. OPA!!!

Registry Theatre or KPL?
We're right across the street! We offer complimentary parking in the evenings and on weekends for all our customers going to the Centre in the Square, Registry Theatre or KPL. Restaurant parking includes the Frederick St. main lot and both the upper and lower garages at the corner of Irvine & Frederick St. after 4:30pm. Please disregard the 'reserved' signs. Your server will give you a parking pass to be placed on the dash of your vehicle before heading over. Reservations are strongly recommended on theatre nights and are only held for 15 minutes.
